Looking for some good old 2005 nostalgia? I've got you covered!
All you need is a phone/PC and your set! Bellow are some games and an emulator to get you started. For more games/emulators, visit emuparadise.me
What is an emulator? How does it work?
Each game for any platform has a certain file extension or a way it saves so that other platforms cant run it. For android, all applications are in a .apk format and for PC on a .exe format. Similarly all games have different extensions, for example a GBA game has a .zip extension and a N64 game also has a .zip extension. An emulator is an application that fools the game into thinking its being run on it platform (here PSP) and not a phone/tablet.
How do you install games?
Okay, first you have got to have a unrar or file explorer that can unrar (android apk bellow)
Then download your .iso game file (link bellow)
After downloading, using your unrar, go and select on the .rar file in your downloads folder (or your default download location)
After it unrars, go check for a .iso file (if you cant find it, no problem. There will probably be another .rar file that you have to similarly unrar)
Go to PPSSPP, navigate to the folder where you unrar-ed and click on the game.
Thats all! =)
How do I run my games?
On the android app, simply tap on the open button, navigate to the file location and your game will run. On PC, either click-and-drag the file over to the emulator, or simply open the file within the emulator similar to the android version.
Some things to know:
1. This is not completly legal (though Sony hasnt done anything to offenders. They keep it a grey area as it provides free marketing for sequels, but running newer games may get ). 2. The game files size is about 100MB-1GB 3. If any of the downloaded games dont work, delete and re-download the game file.
